The Super Eagles forward doubled Atletico’s advantage in the 26th minute, finishing off a strong team performance to put his side firmly in control. Lookman also found the net on another occasion, but the effort was ruled out.
The Nigerian attacker delivered an impressive individual display and received a 7.6 rating from Sofascore for his performance. Following the victory, Atletico Madrid moved provisionally to the top of the La Liga table with seven points from their opening three games.
