Africa player of the year Victor Osimhen netted his first two goals for Galatasaray on Saturday, marking the occasion with a lighthearted celebration by displaying a shirt with the word “Finally” on it.
The Nigerian striker, who had already provided two assists in his first two matches for the Turkish club, opened his scoring account in a league game against Kasımpaşa at home. Osimhen found the back of the net twice within the first 28 minutes, and after his first goal, he celebrated by holding up a Galatasaray jersey with the message “finally.”
He also mimicked a signature goal celebration of former Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi after Icardi scored Galatasaray’s third goal in the 34th minute.
Osimhen, on loan from Napoli until the end of the season, is expected to remain at Galatasaray during the January transfer window despite speculation, as confirmed by the club’s vice president İbrahim Hatipoğlu earlier this week.
